'Welcome home to Yale' proclaims the sign as one drives into town from the south up M-19. A quaint little town located in the thumb of Michigan, Yale is a short drive away from the city of Port Huron, and offers the casual, slow paced atmosphere of a small town with easy accessibility to one of the largest fresh water lakes in the world.
Downtown Yale boasts flourishing business’ of all sorts and one of the most beautiful public parks in the state, which on Friday nights in the fall plays host to the Yale High School Bulldogs football team.
As Yale continues to grow (current population of just under 2,000), so do the business opportunities in the area. Property values have seen a steady increase over the past several years, with many new residents and business’ coming into town. Still, along with new growth there remain several companies that have a long history and tradition in Yale. The Yale Expositor is the oldest business in the city, dating back to 1882, before Yale was officially the name of our community.
Take time to visit. Make time to stay.
Yale Michigan. Welcome home.
